I’m a librarian and information professional from the UK, living in Berlin, Germany. I’m currently working on freelance projects including copy-writing work, a little desk research and some teaching at Humboldt University, including a course on Information Ethics (including copyright matters). I’m using this blog to write about library and information science things of interest to me, including metrics, social media use in academia and publishing. I am also an avid tea drinker and knitter, and I’m (always) learning German, so sometimes those themes also crop up here!
Until 30th April 2013 I was working at the University of Warwick Library as Academic Support Manager (Research) and I’ve worked in various different information professional roles in the UK, in the last 15+ years. My LinkedIn Profile has a fuller description of my history.
